A TikTok star and influencer named Sandal Khattak has been granted bail by a court in Islamabad after being arrested for allegedly leaking obscene videos of her former friend Hareem Shah, another famous TikToker. The case has sparked controversy and debate on social media about the ethics and morality of TikTok users.

According to reports, Hareem Shah had filed two FIRs against Sandal Khattak in Lahore and Peshawar, accusing her of blackmailing and defaming her by uploading indecent videos of her online. Sandal Khattak denied the allegations and claimed that she had filmed Hareem Shah with her consent and that she was not responsible for making the videos viral.

Sandal Khattak’s lawyer argued that his client had not received any notice from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) before the cases were registered and that no evidence was found from her mobile phone or during the investigation. He also said that TikTok’s rules do not allow uploading illicit videos and that Hareem Shah was laughing herself in the videos, implying that she was aware and willing to be filmed.

The judge noted that the FIA notice was not sent to Sandal Khattak and that she was no more required for investigation by the FIA. He also said that the forensic report was still awaited and that keeping the accused behind bars would serve no purpose. He then approved Sandal Khattak’s post-arrest bail.

The case has raised questions about the privacy and security of TikTok users and the legal implications of sharing personal videos on social media platforms. It has also exposed the dark side of fame and popularity that some TikTokers enjoy in Pakistan.
