
The Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, which is doing record business at the box office all over the world including Pakistan, will be released in Indian theaters on December 30.
The Pakistani film made under Bilal Lashari’s production has earned Rs 220 crore worldwide till now, after its release in India, it is expected that the film will set new records in its earnings.
Indian sources say that there is an open field in the Indian market for ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, which will be released on December 30, because there is no other big film opposite it and Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan is yet to be released.
Indian multiplex chain PVR announced the regular release of The Legend of Maula Jatt on social media but deleted the said post due to unavoidable reasons.
According to the sources, due to the fan following of Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Iman Ali in India, it is expected that The Legend of Maula Jatt will be a success in Indian commercial theaters as well.
It should be noted that the Bollywood movies Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Fawad Khan Gangster featured Mahira Khan’s Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan and Raja Natturlal’s Hamima Malik’s acting which still captivates Indian audiences today.
Initially, The Legend of Maula Jatt will be released in the Punjabi language, but keeping in mind the interest of the moviegoers, it may be presented in other languages as well.
It should be noted that this is the first Pakistani film to be shown in Indian cinemas after the Pakistani film Bol was released in India in 2011.
