Shah Rukh Khan Suffers Injury During ‘King’ Shoot, Filming Halted

Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has sustained an injury while performing an action-heavy scene for his upcoming film ‘King’, leading to a temporary halt in production. According to sources close to the unit, the mishap occurred on set in Mumbai, during what was described as a “physically demanding sequence.”

Although the specific nature of the injury has not been publicly disclosed, insiders have clarified that it appears to be muscular in nature and not life-threatening. Still, doctors have recommended a month-long recovery period, during which Khan is expected to take complete rest before returning to filming.

“He’s flown to the United States for professional medical care and routine scans,” revealed one person familiar with the matter. “The team is being extremely cautious, as the film involves more physically intense scenes.”

Directed by Siddharth Anand, known for high-octane hits like War and Pathaan, King is shaping up to be another action-packed thriller. The film is co-written by Anand and Sujoy Ghosh, adding narrative depth to its adrenaline-filled moments.

King also marks the much-anticipated theatrical debut of Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh’s daughter, who recently appeared in The Archies. The ensemble cast includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, and Anil Kapoor, forming one of the year’s most awaited line-ups.

Filming schedules are expected to be revised while Shah Rukh recuperates, but sources insist the team remains optimistic about completing the project within its targeted timeline.
