Saudi Arabia Encouraged to Employ More Pakistani Workers

In a recent meeting, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Jawad Sohrab Malik urged the Al-Rashid Group, a prominent Saudi Arabian conglomerate, to increase the number of Pakistani workers it employs. The meeting, held at the company’s headquarters, aimed to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and the Al-Rashid Group.

The Al-Rashid Group has a reputation for hiring a significant number of Pakistani workers, and Malik expressed his gratitude for their commitment to this practice. He further encouraged the group to expand its recruitment efforts in Pakistan, assuring full cooperation from the Pakistani government.

Chairman Rashid Saad Al-Rashid welcomed the Pakistani delegation, including Malik, Ambassador Ahmad Farooq, DG of BEOE, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of OPHRD, and Embassy officers. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of Pakistani workers to the Al-Rashid Group’s projects and reaffirmed their commitment to continued hiring of Pakistani nationals. Additionally, Al-Rashid expressed openness to exploring new avenues of collaboration with Pakistan.

Both Malik and Al-Rashid concurred on the importance of fostering stronger ties between Pakistan and the Al-Rashid Group.
