Pakistan’s largest defence exhibition started in Karachi on 15th November 2022. The four-day event will cater to 285 delegations from 64 countries.
The International Defence Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS-22 was inaugurated by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
The event serves as a unified platform to bring together the best of defence equipment and technological advancements from across the globe.
The IDEAS 2022 is organized by the Defence Export Promotion Organization and will be witnessing 522 participants from 51 countries. The exhibition will end on November 18th, 2022, in which senior government officials and military delegations are expected to visit.
This year, the exhibitors at IDEAS 2022 include Moscow and Washington while Austria, Hungry and Romania are participating in it for the first time.
Ankara and Ankara are participating at their full capacity while several companies from Turkey have booked two complete halls to present their products. There is also one complete hall dedicated to China this year.
While Kremlin is not participating as an exhibitor in IDEAS 2022, they will still have their presence in the form of a delegation.
