New Housing Opportunities for Punjab’s Citizens
The Apni Zameen Apna Ghar program, launched by Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, offers a rare opportunity for low-income families to own property. Through an online E-Portal, qualified applicants can apply for a free 3-marla residential plot.
In the first rollout, 2,000 plots are set to be distributed across 19 districts and 23 schemes.
Detailed Eligibility Guidelines
Applicants must satisfy the following:
Residency Proof
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Punjab (validated via CNIC).
Application Restrictions
- Only district-specific applications are accepted.
- Neither applicants nor their immediate family can own residential property anywhere in Pakistan.
Record Checks
- Must have no criminal record.
- Should not be a defaulter with any financial institution.
Accuracy in Application
- Submission of any false information will automatically result in disqualification.
Obligations After Plot Allotment
- Construction Start Deadline: Within 6 months after possession.
- Completion Requirement: House construction must be finished within 2 years.
- No Sale Policy: The plot cannot be transferred, sold, or leased for 5 years.
- Compliance Monitoring: PHATA officials will conduct inspections at various stages.

- Faisalabad: 288 plots
- Lahore: 518 plots
- Bhakkar: 131 plots
- Multan: 270 plots
- Bahawalpur: 27 plots
