Marina Khan, the esteemed actor, director, and drama critic, has showered praise on Hania Aamir for her remarkable performance in ARY Digital’s latest drama ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’. The series, which also features Fahad Mustafa making his return to television, has quickly gained attention for its compelling storyline and powerful performances.
In her review, Marina Khan singled out Hania Aamir for her portrayal of Sharjeena, the eldest daughter of the family, who is both empowered and vulnerable. “Hania took the cake for me,” Khan stated. “I think she was just brilliant in the last two episodes. The way she walked after Fahad [Mustafa] dropped her and looked at the house, there were just too many shades and thoughts that you could see going through her mind.”
Khan added, “And every scene she did after that, the shock, the helplessness, the anger, the compromise, and how she processed all those emotions, I felt, she took the cake for me.”
Hania Aamir’s performance has resonated not only with Marina Khan but also with other prominent figures in the industry. Shamoon Abbasi and Rubina Ashraf echoed Khan’s sentiments. Abbasi noted, “I’ve never seen Hania perform like the way she did in these last two episodes, and it shows her learning. She was extraordinary and looked like she was acting in an international project.”
Rubina Ashraf shared her admiration as well, saying, “Hania is undoubtedly a very capable actor. I’ve been her fan since her debut movie Janaan where she outshone everyone, and with all the good scripts that came her way, she never disappoints.”
The drama, written by the seasoned playwright Farhat Ishtiaq, has been brought to life by the talented director Badar Mehmood, known for his work on hits like ‘Dunk’, ‘Cheekh’, ‘Balaa’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha’, and ‘Mein’. ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ airs every Monday and Tuesday during prime time on ARY Digital.
The show’s success can be attributed to its strong narrative, excellent direction, and the outstanding performances of its cast. Hania Aamir, in particular, has delivered a performance that has captured the hearts of viewers and critics alike. Her role as Sharjeena, a character with a complex emotional journey, has allowed her to showcase her versatility as an actor.
