The directive was issued during a meeting of the National Price Monitoring Committee (NPMC) chaired by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal. During the meeting, authorities instructed provincial governments, regional administrations, and relevant regulatory bodies to carry out a scientific evaluation of unpackaged edible oil, ghee, and milk available in markets across Pakistan.
