FGEHA to Resume G-13/1 Apartment Project by End of July or Early August

The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) has announced that construction work on its G-13/1 apartment project is expected to resume by the end of July or in early August, subject to approval at the authority’s upcoming Board meeting.

The development is expected to bring relief to government employees and allottees who have been awaiting progress on the long-delayed residential scheme. Officials say the project is among the key housing initiatives aimed at providing modern residential facilities for federal government employees.

Speaking to APP, Faiz Umer said the FGEHA is currently developing two apartment projects in Islamabad’s G-13 sector. He noted that the authority has completed the necessary arrangements to restart work on one of the projects.

According to the official, construction on the Kashmir Heights Apartment Project is scheduled to resume on July 7, marking an important milestone in the authority’s efforts to accelerate stalled housing developments. The resumption is expected to help maintain momentum for other ongoing residential projects under the FGEHA.

The G-13/1 apartment project is also expected to move forward once the Board grants formal approval. Authorities believe restarting construction will help expedite project completion and address concerns raised by allottees regarding delays.

The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority has been working to advance multiple housing schemes designed for public sector employees, with a focus on improving infrastructure and ensuring the timely delivery of residential units.

The planned revival of construction reflects the authority’s broader efforts to complete pending projects and meet the growing demand for quality housing in Islamabad. If approvals proceed as expected, work on the G-13/1 apartment project could resume within the coming weeks.

The announcement offers renewed optimism for allottees, who are hopeful that construction activities will continue without further interruptions and lead to the timely completion of the long-awaited housing project.
