ISLAMABAD – Pakistan is set to host the Regional Transport Ministers Conference (RTMC) on October 23–24, 2025, at the Jinnah Convention Centre, with participation from ministers and senior officials representing 27 countries. The major international event will focus on enhancing connectivity, promoting trade, and strengthening regional cooperation across transport sectors.

The two-day conference aims to foster collaboration on land, sea, and air transport, paving the way for stronger trade corridors and partnerships. The RTMC is expected to play a vital role in advancing Pakistan’s vision of becoming a regional hub for transit and commerce.

During the official logo unveiling ceremony, Federal Ministers Abdul Aleem Khan, Hanif Abbasi, and Junaid Anwar highlighted the strategic goals of RTMC 2025. They described it as a platform for countries to align on sustainable transport development, cross-border logistics, and smart mobility solutions.

A special review meeting chaired by Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan assessed preparations for the event. He directed ministries and departments to ensure flawless arrangements, emphasizing that the conference will project Pakistan’s progressive image while unlocking new trade and investment opportunities across the region.

Ministers Hanif Abbasi and Junaid Anwar reiterated their commitment to making RTMC 2025 a success, calling it a milestone for regional connectivity. Senior officials briefed attendees on ongoing logistical, technical, and security arrangements, confirming that preparations are progressing on schedule.

Abdul Aleem Khan also announced plans for a cultural exhibition and public event alongside the conference to highlight Pakistan’s hospitality, traditions, and craftsmanship. He stressed that effective coordination among government departments is essential to ensure a smooth and impactful event experience for all delegates and visitors.

The upcoming RTMC 2025 is anticipated to enhance cooperation among participating nations and reinforce Pakistan’s standing as a key player in regional trade and transport development.
