Umair Jaswal Reflects on Life After Divorce and Finds Happiness in Second Marriage

Umair Jaswal Opens Up on Divorce, New Beginnings, and His Private Second Marriage

In a recent interview, singer-songwriter Umair Jaswal candidly discussed his personal journey from his divorce from actor Sana Javed to finding happiness in his second marriage. Jaswal, known for his hit song Sammi Meri Waar, shared how he’s come to appreciate the path life has taken him on, filled with growth and gratitude.

For those unfamiliar, Jaswal was married to A-list actor Sana Javed from 2020 to 2023. Although rumors of their separation circulated in 2022 after they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted their photos together, the news was only confirmed in January this year when Javed announced her second marriage to cricketer Shoaib Malik.

Jaswal, who surprised his fans with a single photo announcing his second marriage last month, shared his feelings about the warm support he received. “I was so overwhelmed by the response,” he said. “People who know me and even those who don’t reached out, showing so much love and concern. I feel truly blessed to have people praying for my happiness.”

The Journey to Finding Peace and Gratitude

Reflecting on his journey, Jaswal expressed, “Alhamdulillah. God’s been incredibly kind to me. Life brings you to certain places, and when you’re finally there, you understand that every step led you to that very moment. It’s all part of a divine plan, and it has made me appreciate the present even more.”

While fans eagerly speculated about his new spouse, Jaswal has chosen to keep her identity private. “People are curious about celebrities’ personal lives, but for me, privacy is essential. I prefer people to focus on my music and work,” he shared.

Umair emphasized the importance of respecting his wife’s privacy, too, noting, “I want to give her the space and respect she deserves.”
